Lake Victoria - One of the world’s biggest fresh water lakes and “the blue lung of Africa”. All too often the poorly equipped ships using the lake hit underwater rocks and sink. No wonder. The latest sea chart is dated from 1903! Now, more than a century later a Swedish survey company is doing their best to change the situation. An exciting and humoristic film on infrastructure and cultural clashes. HBP (Housebars Produktion) is currently following the work on-location. A co-production with SVT, NRK and YLE.
